Modern Oderland Theatre

The Modern Oderland Theater was founded in September 2014 as a non-profit association in and is the only professional spoken theater in Frankfurt (Oder) and its surroundings. The city's most recent cultural institution has its permanent home on the grounds of the Gerstenberger Höfe at Ziegelstraße 28a, a former powerhouse built in 1906. In addition to its focus on contemporary drama and modern takes on classical pieces, the small stage of the Modern Oderland Theater presents itself as a house with a standing open invitation for recitals, concerts, guest performances and other events. The Theatre stands for art taking ist time for asking questions. An invigorating theater!
