Café Luise
Café Luise has been run since 2007 by Gronenfelder Werkstätten, a recognized workshop for people with disabilities. Located on Luisenstraße, it combines gastronomic offerings with social engagement and provides six jobs for people with disabilities.
The café has thirty seats inside and twelve on the terrace. It serves breakfast, lunch, and homemade cakes and pies. From March to October, a selection of ice cream sundaes complements the menu.
The grounds of the Wichern Diakonie, with its historic rectory, chapel, and newly designed “Garden of Remembrance,” invite visitors to take a stroll. The Wichernsaal, which seats up to eighty people, is available for events.
